I recently had the chance to return to Paris to moderate Genopole’s Partnering Week, where innovative biotech startups gathered to connect with investors and established companies. It was an exciting opportunity to see some of the latest ideas taking shape in the biotech world.
A fast-paced format that works
The format we developed was simple but effective. Each company had just one minute to pitch their idea followed by a short, informal interview. This gave us a chance to dig a little deeper into their motivations in a relaxed setting.
With over 20 startups presenting, the pace was fast, but that’s what kept it interesting. The short pitches grabbed everyone’s attention, and the interviews brought out some spontaneous and honest insights. It was great to meet these ambitious entrepreneurs, hear their stories, and learn more about their solutions for the future, and I look forward to where they’ll go from here.
