This May I was immersed in the heart of science and innovation in Paris 🇫🇷, moderating the Spring 24 event at HEC Paris in Paris-Saclay.

Showcasing science and innovation

Key players from across the ecosystem came together to collaborate and showcase technology aimed at improving our future. On stage, we had engaging panel discussions about clean technology and how Paris Saclay can bring together experts from academia and entrepreneurs to innovate and address global challenges.

On top of that, there were exciting pitches from local SPRING50 startups, representing a diverse range of industries including healthtech, biotech, foodtech, digital tech, and industry & services.

A strong collaborative ecosystem and focus on clean energy

I was particularly impressed by the ecosystem and the collaborative ambitions of HEC Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris and Universite Paris Saclay in supporting scientists and entrepreneurs to thrive. Plus, learning about the nuclear industry in France and its role in the energy transition was highly informative and I enjoyed talking with experts about the future deployment of hydrogen in the energy sector.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to facilitate these conversations and to be part of an event that promotes scientists and changemakers shaping tomorrow’s world. Also, Paris is beautiful and always a joy to visit.
