What happens when AI becomes smarter than doctors?
During Paris-Saclay Spring, I had the chance to moderate several conversations about the future of innovation; from energy and AI to fermentation and the evolving Paris-Saclay science cluster. One panel discussion in particular I’d like to reflect on: How is AI and Data-Driven Innovation Reshaping Oncology?
There was one question that sparked a particularly sharp exchange:
If AI becomes better at diagnosing and treating diseases, what role is left for the human doctor?
Why This Matters Beyond Oncology
With experts in oncology, research, and data science at the table, we explored not just what AI can do, but what humans should still could do in fast-changing times.
